Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim said his team made “a lot of mistakes” when they hit Newcastle on Saturday – club legend Roy Keane believes the boss was “shocked” due to his team’s lack of quality.

“It was a very bad moment, but we’ve proven we can get up and play again,” Amorim told BBC Radio 5 Live. “They are obviously better than us, but we made a lot of mistakes and that helped our opponents build confidence and goals.
“We do better, but sometimes we have bad moments and lose a lot of confidence. When things go bad, we don’t control the game.”

Roy Keane: Manchester United ‘bad’
